In the night between April 2 and 3, 1999 during the NATO bombing, five Archives fonds stored at the Federal Interior Ministry Buildings were destroyed, four of them completely and one partly. The following fonds were destroyed completely: АЈ-453 Federal Social Council for International Relations, АЈ-451 Federal Social Council for the Issues of Social Organization, АЈ-452 Federal Social Council for Economic Development and Economic Policy and АЈ-454 Fond of Solidarity with Non-Aligned and Developing Countries. The fond АЈ-455 Airplane Service of Federal Bodies was partly destroyed.
