 A Guide through Collections represents a continuation of a series of publications – general finding aids, guides about the fonds and collections held at the Archives of Yugoslavia.
The first book A Guide through the Funds of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia was published in 2000. By publishing the Guide through Collections, the Archives plan to offer researchers the basic information about each collection and its contents and thus point to the desired topic and facilitate the research.
The authors of the Guide won the award of the Foundation of Đurađ, Danica and Jovanka Jelenić for 2007. This award is granted every year for a book on archival science or historiography, written mostly based on the archival holdings of archives in Serbia.
