Archives of Yugoslavia prepared exhibition of documents Belgrade-New Delhi, 70 Years of Diplomatic Relations on the occasion of marking 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between two countries. This exhibition is prepared together with the Embassy of the Republic of India in Belgrade and Diplomatic Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia. Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia Dr. Milan Terzić greeted the guests, representatives of diplomatic corps in the Republic of Serbia, representatives of cultural and scientific public at the opening ceremony held on October 16, 2018. H.E. Subrata Bhattacharjee Ambassador of the Republic of India also greeted the guests and Mr. Veljko Odalović, General Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs addressed the present on the behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who formally opened the exhibition.
Ranka Radjenović and Miroslava Medaković prepared the exhibition of 120 documents and photos accompanied with the catalogue on three languages - Serbian, English and Hindi. Exhibited documents present establishment of first diplomatic contacts between two states and exchange of visits of their leaders. Documents show similar attitude towards key international problems. Interest of both sides to improve all types of political, economic and cultural cooperation has been increased recently.
Documents and photographs presented at the exhibition are part of the fonds and collections of the Archives of Yugoslavia and Diplomatic Archive of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The exhibition will be opened to October 26, 2018, every working day (Monday-Friday) from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p. m.
