Belgrade

The Archives of Yugoslavia held talks with Oleg Buldakov, representative of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Belgrade.

The Archives of Yugoslavia played host to a delegation of the US Holocaust Memorial Museum. The aim of the visit was to reach agreement to microcopy archival records contained in the holding "State Commission for the Establishment of Crimes Committed by the Occupying Forces and their Aides".
Belgrade

A meeting was held at the Archives of Yugoslavia with Dr. A. Westad, Professor at the Department of History of the London School of Economic and Political Studies (LSE). In addition to the representatives of the Archives of Yugoslavia and Professor Svetozar Rajak accompanying Professor Westad, the meeting was also attended by the representatives of the Documentation Service (INDOK) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of FRY and of the Institute of Military History of the Federal Ministry of Interior. The meeting discussed the place and role of the state archives; the structure of the archival service in certain European countries and beyond; the experience concerning the norms of declassification of documents of particular specialized archives; and the issue of implementation of the Agreement on Succession to the State Archives of SFRY.
Moscow

The Archives of Yugoslavia and the Federal Archival Service of the Russian Federation agreed to continue research into the archivalia at the Foreign Policy Archives of the Russian Federation. The document research activities were carried out from 14 – 21 October 2001.
Paris
November 14 - December 6
As part of the culture cooperation programme between FRY and France, a representative of the Archives took part in a seminar on archival theory and practice organized by the French cultural institution "Maison global de la culture" (Global House of Culture).

The Archives of Yugoslavia and the Federal Archival Service of the Russian Federation agreed to prepare two joint exhibitions in Moscow and Belgrade for 2003 and 2004.


Multilateral

The Archives of Yugoslavia was invited to take part in the 35th Conference of the Round Table of MAS on the theme: "Archives and the Society: What to Keep?" which was held in Reykyavik in October 2001 as well as to several other international expert conferences
