From January 29 - February 21, 2003 the guest exhibition of original documents titled "Russian Emigration in Yugoslavia in the documents of the Archives of Yugoslavia and the State Archives of the Russian Federation, 1920 – 1939" was put on show at the ROSARHIV exhibition hall. The exhibition was arranged under the Cooperation Protocol between the Archives of Yugoslavia and the Federal Archival Service of the Russian Federation. The Archives of Yugoslavia was represented at the opening ceremony by the author of the exhibition.

The Archives of Yugoslavia held talks with the representatives of the State Archives of the Republic of Macedonia initiated by Macedonia. Apart from the representatives of the Archives of Yugoslavia, the talks were also attended by the colleagues from the Archives of Serbia, the Institute of Military History and the colleagues from the Documentation Service (INDOK) of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The point of the Macedonian side’s initiative was to continue cooperation with our archives as well as to sign relevant agreements to regulate it.

The staff of the Archives of Yugoslavia exchanged expert experience with the archivists of the Republic of Slovenia during the latter's visit to Belgrade and to the Archives.

A delegation of the Diplomatic Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia including Olga Ivanova, Deputy Director of the Department for Historic Documents, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and Leonid Saprikin, Head of the Publishing Department spent several days in Belgrade in early June as guests of the Diplomatic Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and Montenegro. The visit was prompted by the need to work together to prepare and publish a joint "Collection of documents on Yugoslav-Soviet relations from 1945 – 1956". Since Professor Ljubodrag Dimic, Professor Djordje Borozan and Miladin Milosevic, Assistant Director of the Archives were working together to prepare and select documents on Yugoslav behalf, the Russian delegation visited them at the Archives on June 3, 2003. The Russian delegation was accompanied by the representative of the Russian Federation in Belgrade, Head of the Documentation Service (INDOK) and Head of the Diplomatic Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and Montenegro.

Mr Liu Yonghong, Adviser on Culture at the Embassy of PR China in Belgrade visited the SCG Archives. He acquainted himself with the newly-appointed Director of the Archives and talked about the continuation of the already traditionally good cooperation. Concrete proposals were made and topics indicated for a PR China's guest archival exhibition at the SCG Archives. No dates were fixed.

The representatives of the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia and the Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia on the one hand and the representatives of the Archives of Serbia and Montenegro and the Diplomatic Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and Montenegro on the other held a return working meeting in Ljubljana. The Slovene party presented the Slovene model design of archival records, computer processing of documents at the Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and showed the premises of its Archives as well as its technical equipment and protection systems. The SCG Archives was represented by its Director and Assistant Director.

An employee of the Archives attended a two-and-a-half-month international archival seminar arranged by the Ministry of Culture and Media of France through the mediation of the French Cultural Center in Belgrade.

A representative of the Archives of Yugoslavia took part in the proceedings of the 9th International conference of the Archives of Central and Eastern Europe from the series "Colloquy devoted to Jiri Skowronek" on the topic "Archives of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. DELOS - a presentation of the network and characteristics of digital libraries as well as the possibility of introducing the system in Central and Eastern European countries".

A representative of the Archives of Yugoslavia attended the International symposium on conversation and restoration of archival and library materials titled "Presentation of archival and library materials as well as art images on paper - standards in protection".
