Library
The special library of the Archives of Yugoslavia was opened in 1952 with the aim of assisting scientific experts and other users in their research of the archives material, as well as archivists in their process of gaining expert knowledge in the fields of preservation, sorting and processing the archival material and with the aim of rendering information to users
Library material is obtained through purchase, exchange, gifts and mostly by taking over library material together with the archival holdings. In 2020, the library had about 27.500 books, 11.200 books of periodicals and 1.686 non-book material (geographical maps, posters and leaflets)..
Search through the data on printed and other unconventional librarian and archival material that is a part of funds and collections of Archives of Yugoslavia (brochures, print, maps, photographs, architectural solutions, posters, flyers, invitations, postcards, drawings and other published material other than books...).
The central common catalog COBISS.SR was established in 2003. The library of Archives of Yugoslavia has been its member since 2008. In the previous period, 46054 units have been processed in the Archives' library, and added to the Central catalog.
