On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 1:00 PM, the exhibition "Milk and Blood" by the Historical Archive of Užice was officially opened at the Archives of Yugoslavia. The opening speeches were delivered by Dr. Milan Terzić, Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia, as host; Željko Marković, Director of the Historical Archive of Užice and author of the exhibition; and Prof. Dr. Dejan Antić, State Secretary in the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, who also officially opened the exhibition.
The exhibition "Milk and Blood," created by Željko Marković, originates from the Personal Collection of Slobodan Penezić Krcun, which is preserved in the Historical Archive of Užice. It presents numerous significant documents and photographs that follow Penezić's private life, revolutionary path, and all the functions he held in socialist Yugoslavia and Serbia.
The exhibition is open to the public in the exhibition hall of the Archives of Yugoslavia until Friday, December 13, 2024, every working day from 8 AM to 3 PM.
