Order of the Karađorđe Star - Gold and Silver Military Orders

The first document represents a charter of the decree signed by King Alexander Karađorđević at the suggestion of the Minister of War and Navy, relating to Živorad Ilić for merits gained in battles during the Albanian raid in 1920 and in battles against rebels. Živorad Ilić belonged to the Machine Gun Detachment of the 10th Infantry Regiment. He was awarded the Gold Military Order of the Karađorđe Star with Swords. The decree was executed by the Minister of War and Navy, honorary aide-de-camp to His Majesty King Alexander, General Milivoje Zečević, on December 17, 1921, in Belgrade.

This charter was presented to Živorad Ilić on September 15, 1925, in Belgrade by the Chancellor of the Royal Orders and Division General Dušan Stefanović, and the Secretary of the Royal Orders Office, Đorđe Čarapić, as proof of the awards and decree previously granted.

The document, or the charter of the decree and award, was reproduced in the Reproduction Section of the Geographic Institute of the General Staff. The document was made with a width of 37 cm and a length of 50 cm.

 

The second document represents a charter of the decree issued in the name of His Majesty King Peter I Karađorđević, which was signed by his son, His Royal Highness the Heir to the Throne, Alexander Karađorđević, at the suggestion of the Minister of War and Navy, and concerns Ilija Nikolić, an invalid from the Home for the Blind and Disabled. Ilija Nikolić was awarded the Silver Military Order of Karađorđe's Star with Swords. The decree was executed by the Minister of War and Navy, Branko Jovanović, on October 14, 1920, in Belgrade.

This charter was presented to Ilija Nikolić on September 12, 1934, in Belgrade by the Chancellor of the Royal Orders and General Dragoljub Jeremić, as proof of the awards and decree previously granted.

The document, or the charter of the decree and award, was reproduced at the Military Geographic Institute in Belgrade. The document was made with a width of 31.5 cm and a length of 45.5 cm.
