On the occasion of the 135th anniversary of the establishment of Serbia Portugal diplomatic relations, the exhibition "Writers Diplomats" was opened in the Central Hall of the National Library of Serbia on September 18, 2017 at 6:00 p.m.
All present were greeted by Laslo Blašković, Director of the National Library of Serbia, H.E. Augusto José Pestana Saraiva Peixoto, Ambassador of the Republic of Portugal in Serbia, Bojana Adamović Dragović Head of the Department for Europe in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and Dr Milan Terzić, Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia.
Exhibition "Writers Diplomats" presents biographies and works of the chosen Portuguese and Serbian writers – diplomats from the XIX and XX century.
The project is result of cooperation of the Embassy of the Republic of Portugal in Belgrade, Institute Kamois, the Archives of Yugoslavia and the National Library of Serbia and is part of the manifestation European Day of Languages, organized every year by EUINIC network of cultural center in Belgrade.
Exhibition will be opened for visitors till September 30, 2017.
