International Conference “7th Tuzla Archival Days”

The International Conference “7th Tuzla Archival Days” was held on 25 and 26 September 2026 in Tuzla, organized by the Association of Archival Employees of Tuzla Canton, in co-organization with the Public Institution Archives of Tuzla Canton Tuzla.

This year’s conference was dedicated to the topic “Archival Staff – Challenges in the 21st Century,” and as part of the program, the promotion of the seventh issue of the professional journal “Archival Views” was also held.

In addition to the President of the Organizing Committee, the attendees were also addressed by Dr. Edin Veladžić, Deputy Director of the Archives of Bosnia and Herzegovina, M.Sc. Hajrudin Ćuprija, Director of the Archives of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Dr. Tatjana Kikić, Acting Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia.

The conference presented papers by archivists from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, thematically focused on issues of education and professional development of archival staff, their professional profiles and position in society, working conditions and occupational safety, as well as contemporary approaches to archival pedagogy, education, and communication between archives and the public.
