Participation of representatives from the Archives of Yugoslavia at the VIII International Archival Conference "Senta 2024"

At the VIII International Archival Conference "Senta 2024," held in Senta from October 9 to 11, 2024, organized by the Archival Society of Serbia and the Historical Archive of Senta, and under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, three senior archivists from the Archives of Yugoslavia participated. On the second day of the conference, Dr. Svetlana Stefanović, along with her colleague Aleksandar Bereznov, moderated the first session titled "Current Problems in Archival Theory and Practice" and delivered a lecture on the topic "Application for Processing, Searching, and Reviewing the Digitized Photo Archive of Tanjug." Vidosava Eraković presented her work titled "Education of Archive Workers – Yugoslav Experience and Practice" during the second session called "The Human in the Archive." Together with Srđan Sivčev, Eraković moderated this session. The head of the Department for the Protection and Use of Archival Material, Marko Radovanović, also attended the conference.

At this archival gathering, the collection of papers "Archival Material in Theory and Practice," Volume 7, was presented, along with the Information Bulletin of the Archival Society "Archival Herald." The president of the Archival Society signed a cooperation protocol with the Slovak Archival Society.
