ANNOUNCEMENT: Opening of the exhibition The First Conference of the Leaders of the States or Movements of Non-Aligned Countries, Belgrade 1961

The Archives of Yugoslavia in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia prepared the exhibition of the archival documents on the First Conference of Non-Aligned countries held in Belgrade in September 1961 on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of the Conference.

The exhibition is going to be opened on October 5, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Director of the Archives Dr. Milan Terzić will deliver a speech as a host, Maja Gojković, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information and Nikola Selaković Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia will open the exhibition.

The exhibition The First Conference of the Leaders of the States or Movements of Non-Aligned Countries, Belgrade 1961 consists of 253 documents and photographs that in the form of posters present history of origin of the Non-aligned Movement, preparations preceding the Conference, work of the Conference as well as the events that happened after the Conference.
The exhibition will be opened to the public till October 23, 2021.
