The exhibition of archival documents "Belgrade - Havana, from the history of diplomatic relations" was ceremonially opened.

At the opening ceremony, speeches were given by Dr. Milan Terzić, the director of the Archives of Yugoslavia, His Excellency Leyde Ernesto Rodriguez Hernandez, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Serbia, Goran Rodić, President of the Art Council of the Cultural Center "Lukijan Mušicki" in Temerin, and Bojan Torbica, a member of parliament in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and former chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Cooperation with the Republic of Cuba, who officially opened the exhibition. During the opening, Director Terzić highlighted the history of relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Cuba, with a special focus on the relationship between Yugoslav President Josip Broz Tito and Cuban President Fidel Castro.

The exhibition "Belgrade - Havana, from the history of diplomatic relations" represents a revised and redesigned version of the 2013 exhibition "Belgrade - Havana: 70 years of diplomatic relations" by authors Nada Pantelić and Dušan Jončić, edited by Dragan Teodosić and redesigned by Zvonko Kuprešanin.

The exhibition is divided into eight sections: consular relations, diplomatic relations, Yugoslav emigrants in Cuba, towards full diplomatic relations, letters from high officials of Yugoslavia and Cuba, summit meetings, conferences of non-aligned countries in Belgrade and Havana, and interstate agreements. The exhibition is accompanied by a flyer.

The opening of the exhibition was accompanied by a cultural and artistic program.
