Visit of the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Archives of Yugoslavia

Today, the Archives of Yugoslavia was visited by H.E. Mr. Kamil Khasiyev, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Serbia. H.E. Ambassador Khasiyev was accompanied by Mrs. Gulnara Mamadova, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The guests were welcomed on behalf of the Archives of Yugoslavia by Dr. Milan Terzić, Director of the Archives, and Dragan Teodosić, Head of the Department for the Publication of Archival Materials and Inter-archival Cooperation.

During the visit, the guests were introduced to the history, collections, activities, and building of the Archives. They toured one of the storage rooms, the exhibition hall, the reading room, as well as the exhibitions “Ivo Andrić in Diplomacy” and “Constitutions of Yugoslavia 1921–1974”, which are on display in the central hall of the Archives.

They also discussed the possibility of future cooperation between the Archives and the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
