On 16 June 2026, the Archives of Yugoslavia was visited by H.E. Mohammad Sadegh Fazli, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Serbia. Ambassador Fazli was accompanied during his visit to the Archives of Yugoslavia by Seyed Ahmad Nekooei Avanji, Third Counsellor, and Ali Razeghi, Persian and Serbian translator. The meeting focused on the possibilities of joint activities to mark the 90th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, which will take place next year, in 2027.
