Visit of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Archives of Yugoslavia, 27 January 2026

On 27 January 2026, the Archives of Yugoslavia were visited by H.E. Mohammad Sadegh Fazli, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Belgrade. The meeting with the Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia, Dr. Milan Terzić, took place at the initiative of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Ambassador Fazli was accompanied by Milad Adib, Second Secretary of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Mohammad-Reza Mottaghi, interpreter. The meeting with Director Terzić was also attended by Dragan Teodosić, Senior Archivist and Head of the Department for the Publication of Archival Materials and Inter-Archival Cooperation. The purpose of the meeting was Ambassador Fazli’s wish to become more closely acquainted with the activities of the Archives of Yugoslavia, as well as to consider possibilities for joint cooperation between the Archives of Yugoslavia and the Embassy, primarily in connection with the marking of ninety years of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2027.
