Continuation of Cooperation Between the Archives of Yugoslavia and Petnica Science Center

Years long fruitful cooperation of the Archives of Yugoslavia and Seminar of the History of Research Center Petnica continued also in the summer of 2021 by the visit of the archivist Dr. Svetlana Stefanović and Ivan Hofman from August 25 - 27, to Petnica. According to the program of seminar, the students studied different types of memoiires material and analyzed handwriting of war memoires of revolutionary and combatant Ana Konjović Hofman. Archivist Dr. Svetlana Stefanović gave introductory lecture on “Women Question in Serbia in the First Half of the XX Century” while the archivist Ivan Hofman was in charge of the analysis of the memoires and the movie “Sophie’s Choice” by Alan J. Pakula.
In cozy ambient of Petnica they talked about new projects that would help students of the Seminar for the History to continue getting to know peculiarities of the historical science through analysis of documents from the fonds of the Archives of Yugoslavia.
