The Archives of Yugoslavia at the Days of Serbian Culture in Egypt

The Archives of Yugoslavia participated in the "Days of Serbian Culture" in Egypt, which took place from July 10th to 12th, 2024, through a series of events. The Archives of Yugoslavia contributed with exhibitions titled "The First Conference of Heads of State or Government of Non-Aligned Countries, Belgrade 1961" and "Belgrade - Cairo: 116 Years of Diplomatic Relations". The director of the Archives of Yugoslavia, Dr. Milan Terzić, and Dragan Teodosić, head of the Department for Publishing Archival Materials and Inter-Archive Cooperation, participated in the seminar "The Non-Aligned Movement and Its Global Role".

The "Days of Serbian Culture" were ceremoniously opened by Mrs. Tamara Vučić, the First Lady of Serbia and the wife of President Aleksandar Vučić. Alongside the exhibitions by the Archives of Yugoslavia, the event also featured an exhibition from the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade titled "Two Faces: Collection of Pirot Rugs", as well as performances by the Serbian Folk Dance and Song Ensemble "Kolo" and the Egyptian Folklore Society "Reda".
