The Archives of Yugoslavia and the Diplomatic Historical Archive of Mexico signed the agreement

On Thursday, December 18, 2025, an agreement was signed at the Archives of Yugoslavia between the Archives of Yugoslavia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico through the General Directorate of the Diplomatic Historical Archive regarding the protection and access to digital documents. The agreement was signed on behalf of the Archives of Yugoslavia by the Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia, while on the Mexican side, as an honorary witness, the Ambassador of Mexico, His Excellency Carlos Félix Corona, was present. The agreement further defines the cooperation between the Archives of Yugoslavia and the Diplomatic Historical Archive of Mexico. The signing ceremony was also attended by Damjan Jović, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia. During the signing of the agreement, the public was presented for the first time with the publication, a collection of documents published by the Archives of Yugoslavia titled "Yugoslavia – Mexico 1924–1990". A joint activity was announced to mark the 80th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Mexico in May 2026, as well as work on publishing a joint collection of documents.
