Group of students studying philology and history at the University of Augsburg in the Federal State of Bavaria, Federal Republic of Germany visited the Archives of Yugoslavia on September 18, 2018.
Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia Dr. Milan Terzić and Dr. Svetlana Stefanović introduced students that were on the study tour in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina lead by Dr. Maren Röger, Lecturer at the Department for Transnational Relations: Germany and East Europe, coordinator for scientific and organization matters at Bukovina Institute at the University of Augsburg and Prof. Dr. Günther Kronenbitter from the Department for European Ethnology and Folklore, with the work and the history of the Archives of Yugoslavia as well as with the building where it is located.
Future historians visited store rooms preserving fond AJ-74 (ROYAL COURT) and fond AJ-836 (MARSHALL OF YUGOSLAVIA’S OFFICE), reading room, library, and the exhibition hall as well laboratory for conservation and restoration of the archival material.
