On January 21, 2025, starting at 1:00 PM, the Archives of Yugoslavia will celebrate the 75th anniversary of its founding. On this occasion, the Archives will present its publishing activities over the past period, with a special focus on its two latest publications: a collection of papers by Dr. Živko Avramovski, History of Albania and Serbian/Yugoslav-Albanian Relations 1912–1944, and a collection of documents Serbian/Yugoslav-Egyptian Relations 1908–1990. You can view the program for the Archives Day celebration HERE.
The Archives chose this form of celebration since, in recent years, the focus has been on exhibition activities. The presentation of publications will take place in the amphitheater of the Archives of Yugoslavia, while guests will have the opportunity to view the exhibition Memorials of the First World War in the Collections and Funds of the Archives of Yugoslavia in the exhibition hall. This exhibition was organized by the Archives late last year in collaboration with the Republic Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments.
