Visit of pupils from the IX Gymnasium "Mihailo Petrović Alas" to the Archives of Yugoslavia

Today, pupils from the fourth year of the IX Gymnasium "Mihailo Petrović Alas" from New Belgrade visited the Archives of Yugoslavia, accompanied by history professors Đorđe Mamula and Miloš Savić.

The pupils and their professors were welcomed at the Archives of Yugoslavia by the heads of the Department for the Publishing of Archival Materials and Inter-Archive Cooperation, Dragan Teodosić, and the Department for the Protection and Use of Materials, Marko Radovanović. They introduced the visitors to the history and archival collections of the Archives, as well as the history of the building.

During their visit, the pupils toured the reading room, cinema hall, and exhibition hall, where they visited the exhibition "Memorials of the First World War in the Funds and Collections of the Archives of Yugoslavia", organized jointly by the Archives of Yugoslavia and the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of Serbia.
